1. Windows: open the downloaded file. A window shows this computer's 9-digit ID. If Windows warns about an unknown publisher, choose More info → Run anyway.
2. Getting help: tell your helper the ID and click Accept when they connect. Close the window to stop.
3. Your own computer: run it once from a terminal with --login to add it to your account.

Telodesk updates itself. Each update carries this server's signature and is checked before it installs.
